October Community Conversation: Moving Forward
The third community conversation in our series was held at the school Cafeteria on Wednesday 23 October 2019 at 6:30pm. Approximately 110 residents attended the meeting.
GOALS FOR THIS MEETING:
1. Understand options for taking action on vacation rentals
2. Increase knowledge about VR regulation through large group Q and A
3. Work on activities to move forward

Please consider a donation to defray the hard costs of space rental, publicity, food, child care, web site and the always-unknown costs of preparing and hosting these events. The Orcas Island Vacation Rental Community Conversations project has been organized by a team of local volunteers who produce these conversations, do research, create presentations, interact with San Juan County personnel, respond to correspondence, track funds, (wash bottles, etc!) The volunteers meet weekly to plan, prepare and execute the events.
