Our citizen committee (see Our Team) is comprised of volunteers from across the Orcas community. In order to organize and prepare for the July 2019 Community Conversation, at least 200 person-hours of time were invested. In addition, the costs of renting space, purchasing supplies and food, providing child care, and creating this website are not insignificant. Your support is very much appreciated. All funds donated from this website via Island Stewards will used to support initiatives such as the Vacation Rental Community Conversations.
Island Stewards is a federal 501(c)(3) non-profit (EIN 91-1264260)—all donations larger than $100 are tax deductible.
Donations by check should be made out to Island Stewards and “Vacation Rentals Orcas” should be placed in the “memo” field of the check.
